During Sunday, I normally use it for rest (or being lazy hehe) at home on mornings, have lunch with the family if not dinner, then go to church in the afternoon, attend much awaited Leadership group meeting then back to base.
But this afternoon, my brother calls asking if we would like to go to Tagaytay and escape the humid Manila, I gave a resounding YES!
In 30 minutes my brother with his wife, son and nanny arrived and pick me up. I was expecting a bit of traffic but the roads were clear, awesome. We were in Tagaytay in about an hour. We came at the invitation of their friend, Grace who owns Royal Taal Inn.
Royal Taal Inn is a very nice cozy, quiet place overlooking the Taal Lake and Volcano. From the Rotonda, you just turn left, go pass People’s Park, and the Development Academy of the Philippines. It is on the right side, going towards Tagaytay Highlands which is 5 minutes away.
It is probably the lowest priced place that is overlooking. It is clean, people are very hospitable, and the rooms are nice.
The feel is very relaxing, I enjoyed the view from our room, the greeneries, the lake and the very cool climate, especially the time spent with my family and new found friends.
