Going thru the knife?

Be prepared with the right information. First, ask yourself why you want to have a surgery. Is is a need to correct a deformity or for aesthetic reasons? Would having a surgery really change the way your look at “yourself”. Self-confidence should come from within.
Consider also where you will have your surgery. I remember our friends Dad who is a surgeon saying that he won’t operate on a patient who is immediately flying out coz it might affect the post surgery result or their might be complications and travel will get in the way of fixing it on time. If you live in Miami for example, then have your plastic surgery in Miami.
Be prepared with answers and your questions during the Initial Consultation. Normally the surgeon would assess you and find out your desired enhancement. The surgeon would then plan something out considering your overall look and features, each part of the body must compliment the rest. The surgeon should clearly explain to you how the procedure will go, what will be done and what will be your expected out come.
Find out how much it will really cost? Be sure you have the right figure so you can prepare the funds needed, you don’t want to have a nose half done, with a half budget.
Carefully know the pre operation preparations you need to know and make. Know the risks and possible complications, issues of scaring because you might have the tendency to develop keloids. Learn more about how you can recover faster and other things that might be necessary.
It pays to be inquisitive.
