Esplanade, Singapore

My friend Julie and I missed coming here to Esplanade on our previous trip, this is where the Merlion is located, so Ferdie brought me. Upon arriving I was a bit surprised (or am i not supposed to be?)to see couples kissing (FK) in the park, well i don’t see it a lot in Manila hehe, at the same hour which was barely 8PM…but anyway, my friend says it’s normal here…lover’s lane. Right now, The King and I is showing, i would wan’t to see it sometime. I really enjoy plays, like i went to see Miss Saigon played by no less than our very own Ms. Lea Salonga.

Justin and Romina vacationing to PI

It’s going to be a great time for my family to have with us my sister Romina and her husband Justin this year for a vacation in Boracay.

Romina was here last year too, but not for a vacation instead to see our Dad for the last time.  We know Dad is in a better place now, enjoying time with the Lord, our Creator.

It will be a short trip of only 10 days, that we hope to fill with a lot of quality time, refreshing, fun and laughter. Aside from Bora, seeing Tagaytay and Taal is scheduled too, and Mall of Asia hehehe for the evening Fireworks over dinner.

We are booked via Cebu Pacific for Kalibo, where we are gonna stay for 1 night before proceeding to Boracay. I love Kalibo, it is where i grew up til 5 years old and it’s the most calming and relaxing place i know.  And my Auntie Laurie Lachica is such a wonderful host, and my cousins and niece are all very helpful, hospitable and accomodating.

Romina and I have been coordinating the schedules, accomodation and even what food to have Justin taste. On the list is Pinoy Bistek, Sinigang na Beef, Tortang Talong, Kare Kare among others.

Also, cousins from Canada are coming, so we might be having a mini re-union for the Lachica Clan.

We are about 13 travelling, Justin and Romina, Kuya Bong and Ate Jane with their two kids Jaepher and Chrysha, Mom, Rich and I with two nannies.  Ate Madel and Rene would most like come too.

So excited…finally, after more than a couple of years we will be in Boracay as a family again…Yohoooo!
