On my flight back to Manila, I noticed I’m missing my Creative Mp3 player. I almost depend on it for entertainment during my travels or even just going around the city. I guess I left it in my aunt’s home, well, I really hope that’s where I left it coz it’s a gift from my youngest sister. Everyone in my family has player, my two sisters has an Ipod, my mom has an mp3 player and she loves it.
For now, I have to check for a new player, compare features and prices… I would love to have an Ipod.

As gasoline prices increase, everything else goes up with it, and often times commodity prices goes up faster than some people’s income. So what is to do? A lot would depend on borrowing from relatives and friends or on payday loan. And the most logical thing one would do is to budget the expenses to get things to fit in the income. While it is true that one should make a plan on where the hard earned income would go, it is not always working to just do that.
What if the expenses at its most stripped down cost, like the basic needs for food, shelter and clothing, plus utility bills, cell phone load and others is more than the money you make?
The best thing to do is to find means to make extra income, and earn more, to be able to buy the things you need and want. A lot of opportunities are out there to make it happen, one can take an extra job part time, or buy and sell items like gadgets or just whatever you would enjoy selling.
My sister for instance would go to a mall where there are pre-owned mobile phones are for sale. She would go around and see what’s on for sale, negotiate for a low price after testing the item and buy it. She would then use the item to test it for herself and start selling it on ebay or post in a forum or classified ads, doing this, she makes an extra $200-$400 dollars a month.
There really are a lot of ways to skin a cat in as much as there are so many ways to make extra money. Simply decide to do it!

I have! But I have never played though. My first time entering a casino was in 1997, around 10a.m but it was closed…I was there to pick up a check payment for the Golf Club membership the casino was buying from my company. I saw the machines and tables that I usually saw on TV or movies, and as I walked the carpeted hall, I sort of visualized how busy it must have been just the night before. I could smell the fumes of the cigarette smoke, too.
Times has definitely changed, casinos are no longer just found in a physical place with machines, tables and people who deal cards like, it is also now found on the net and one can bet at the comfort of their homes or wherever there is internet connection. I saw one site called http://www.topusaonlinecasinos.com/ where they offer a lot of online games where you play with real money. I think one use credit card online to buy credits or something, instead of exchanging money for chips.

I wonder why people keep playing when they know casinos always makes money, meaning players don’t really win.Well, maybe some people do it for entertainment, but one must be careful not to get hooked and bet all that you worked hard for.

What’s a blog? I get asked the question when I try to invite people to come visit my website and check out my blog… This was a question I also asked the person who introduced me to blogging more than a year ago.
A Blog is a web log, a journal that you put on the web for you to access wherever there is internet. There are hundreds of thousands of new blogs everyday. People blog for a variety of reasons, some do it for fun, for hobby, for promoting their business or for making money. Blog is like a digital journal, instead of one writing on a notebook or a diary, you write on a computer and publish what you wrote on the web.
A Blog is a great way to express your thoughts, ideas and happenings. You’ll be surprised to know that things that interest you can mean something to people all across the globe. Like your travels and adventure, your food tasting in a new restaurant, your experience on a new gadget and more, the topic can really be endless.
A Blog is also a great way to promote the products you sell or endorse, a blog allows you to share what is good about your product in a more engaging way, contrary to very formal way of doing a sales pitch. And this way you can also establish readership and initiate communication with your target market. A Blog has also become a money making habit, hobby, or whatever you would like to call it. Some bloggers who managed to share about things that interest a wide variety of readers attractted some advertisers who pay them money to blog or to put a banner ad on their ads. There are also companies who are getting advertisers to pay bloggers (people who blog) to feature their products or review their products and talk about it on their blogs or blog advertising.
You might ask, how do I get started with a blog? You can get started by reading other peoples blogs and see how they do it, to give yourself an idea how to do it too. Then you can go to websites that offer free blogging platforms and sign up. These sites include Blogger.com, Wordpress.com or Typepad. I am using Wordpress. When you get the hang of it, then you can decide to get a paid blog set-up where you can have your own domain name, with your own hosting and design.
Welcome to the world of blogging. I hope I got your question on what a blog is answered.
