While I was in college I noticed that some of my schoolmates suddenly disappeared from attending classes in the middele of the  semester.  Then i later the next, saw some of them back. I got to talk to a few of them, they shared that they’re back clean and fresh and somewhat ready to start a new life and do things better. I asked clean from what? clean from substance.  For most of them their parents learned about their being into substance and enrolled them into drug rehabs. 

In the rehab according to them, they were guided how to deal with the reasons why they got into drugs in the first place, and for most of them, they had issues in the home and family relationships. They felt unimportant and lacked attention, or that no one loves them, and peer pressure made its way easy for them to try anything just to fit in.  They were all thankful they went to therapy.
