Fully Furnished units in Boracay

As we go around the Boracay Island, one can’t help notice the so many structures being constructed on every road, a lot of hotels, condominiums and private homes are being developed and constructed.  Construction is being controlled in Boracay right now with the issuance of the Moratorium that there will be no further construction in the Island at least for the next six months.

I learned that it’s quite expensive to build in the Island because of the cost of bringing in the materials here, and taking anything into the island will require a lot of permits. If you are going to buy things for a private home, it is quite a challenge to take them in. Because of these, most Developers are selling fully furnished condominium units to make furnishing a property hassle free to would be buyers.  When you purchase a unit in Boracay, most often than not, it already goes with the basics upon turnover such as patio furniture, beds, chairs, closets, kitchen table, even appliances like Microwave Oven, LCD TV’s and likes.  This way when you own a condominium hotel in the island all you have to do is come and enjoy…your purchase goes with all the things you need in your unit. Fully-fitted and fully furnished.

Ride on top of a Hotel

How would you like to enjoy an Extreme ride on top of your hotel room? Fuente Triangle in Cebu is installing a ride on its Top Floor which concept was picked up from a Vegas Hotel in the USA when the owner visited it.  If I am not mistaken, that hotel is called Stratosphere where one is attached to a Harness and dared to walk along the hotel’s Edge at the top Floor. How would you like that.

Hotels need to really come up with a lot of exciting attractions reach desired occupancy rate, this is so especially in Las Vegas where competition is really stiff.  Hotels aren’t only 5 Star but also 6 Star Hotels with a lot of unique and exciting features to offer from gaming, entertaining shows to having a themepark within its complex.

Are pop up blocker’s effective?

When I visit a website, I sometimes encounter popup blocker which I find annoying, because for one, im not expecting it and two, it is blocking the page I really wanted to read.

Admittedly however, I have actually signed up for a newsletter that the popup blocker is promoting a number of times.  One can’t help but read a few lines, which incidentally might interest you because most pop ups are related to the website content you want to view.

Like for example, when I searched for a certain Diet or Lose weight Program, a pop up blocker promoting a Weight Loss Diet appears saying it is a surefire way to shed off fats, and an email on that information will be sent to my email by simply signing up my email account.  A good percentage of these, gets my attention or at least cause me to read a few lines.

With that, I would say that pop blockers does the job of getting interest and leading people to sign up.

Real Estate is booming in Boracay

In the locally distributed monthly paper called Philippine Wide Boracay, the December issue says “Real Estate in Boracay is Booming”.  I believe this is true because of the so many Condominium Hotel developments in the Island. I saw at least five such as The Crown Regency Boracay along the Main Road, which will boast of the largest swimming pool in Boracay and the biggest Convention Center; The Alta Vista De Boracay in Yapak which has at least 2 of the 18 clusters already operating; Alice in Wonderland along the white beach, 7 Stones also on a beach front on the other side of Boracay Island where kiteboarding is a hit, and Paradise Garden View which is located on a high part of Boracay which has overlooking the sea units.

Any real estate agent who will seriously market properties in Boracay can make a killing in a great opportunity. I say these because there are at least half a million tourists who visited the island last year (2007), and hitting 1 Million tourists by 2010.  Also, a lot of these tourists are Balikbayans who are very interested in investing and Tourists who fell with the island who wants to own a piece of Paradise.

Products along Boracay beach walk

Along the beach of Boracay, a lot of vendors are selling products from Souvenir Items like T-Shirts and shorts with Boracay print on it, leather Wrist bands, puka shell earings, necklaces and bracelets. I find seeing all these products normal, what is surprising is to see vendors selling designer and branded watches like Tag Heuer, Rolex, Technomarine watch…only these are not real ones, they call them Triple A quality watches, and priced at less than $100 each..

Some are actually buying even if those aren’t the real thing, apparently because one wouldn’t mind losing it if they get drunk and forget it in the bar or  resorts or lose it in the beach when swimming.
