I went to Dinner with a friend of the family and her relatives last night, with her mother’s siblings in particular. With the way they speak to each other, you can tell that they’re a very closely knit family who grew with a lot of love in the home.

The eldest sister went to share about her plan to sell her property, and her what she plan to do with the proceeds. She is buying another 4 lots to give her children one each and built a home on those.  She says that you can not tell what the future holds and she want to plan things before something happens. She wants to make sure she lives an inheritance to her children with everything in order.

I really admire people who view things in a very practical way…she is like my mom who is very good in planning.  She has all her property titles being placed in order, she invested in insurances like life and non life including a funeral insurance which greatly helped us prevent getting into a crisis when something unexpected happened, the quick passing of my dad after diagnosis that he had Aplastic Anemia, to be specific.

I learned a lot being with them last night.

Personal belongings speak volumes about the person who owns it. You can almost tell when one is a minimalist or extravagant. Same goes with cars, some are fine with the stock looking car and others want to dress their cars up.

Some just want the interior designed or have even spoilers all around the car, or simply have dash kits that makes the cockpit so to speak more pleasing to the eye and helps make driving a pleasure.
