Memory Card

When it comes to memory card needs, I would always settle for vendors who already have an established reputation of good service and quality products. What I mean by good service is professionalism in handling my order that would reach me as scheduled. By quality products, I mean the merchandise will work flawlessly as specified and advertised. This would surely eliminate unnecessary frustration and, therefore, build confidence. Other features such as money back guarantee and warranty are another plus to see before placing my order.

2009 1st quarter schedule starting to fill

My schedule for 2009 is starting to fill. All of my weekends are taken for review classes at the Philippine Lung Center until 3rd week of March, and the rest of the weekdays is for work.

I already have appointments for Jan 5, 7 and a lot more days in January, squeezing in a Boracay trip from 21 to 24.

Another Boracay trip from Feb 14 to 18, valentines in Boracay :-) …Also in Feb i have a Cagayan De Oro trip with Rene, Madel and my Mom.

For March i have Davao and Malaysia. Plans for the next quarter are being layed out, June 1st week is for the Board Exams already. After that, im pretty free, to explore the U.S and Canada would be a blessing.

I am grateful for what 2009 looks like…Despite the global economic recession, i am believing God for blessings of time to grow in my relationship with God,  good health for me and my family as well as quality time with them, more happy clients for my business, and time for lovelife lol  (i have been told i keep disappearing and seems to be uninterested).

I have so many reasons to thank God for in 2008. Its been filled with many good memories and new things as well as new people brought in mylife.  Thanks for the health i had and so as my family members, the provision for all our needs and more… I thank God for my spiritual family in Victory Christian Fellowship too who are instrumental to my growth in faith. I thank God for new friends in business too.

I hope that many of the people who shared their lives with me in 2008 will continue to do so for 2009. I pray for more blessings to all my family members, friends, church and business associates.

May this coming 2009 be filled with all thing greater than 2008.  To everyone, have a very Happy NEW YEAR!!!

Ten Secrets of the Rich by Al Sembrano

The books i need to read are actually piling up. Thanks to the Audio CD that Al gave me, it is such a time saver for me, i just play it and still work on whatever i needed to get done. I learned a lot from listening to AL on CD and from Al Sembrano himself… in person.

Great AUDIO CD on getting Rich

Great AUDIO CD on getting Rich

I met Al sembrano a few years ago, when he contracted us to create a website for his Book which was still then in the making, and to design the book cover.

During my meetings with AL, my eyes were opened to the posibilities of making money on the internet, though i was making a bit from the website development business  already, it still was not making money online perse. I was selling websites, and i had to meet people physically to transact, close deals and earn money. Although later on, people were ordering websites online already without the need to meet them physically.

All my working life, i had had to work and be in a physical office and receive paycheck from a Company i can see and visit physically. But talking to AL, a lot of income channels he has was via the internet and without physically meeting anyone, and just receiving pay on a virtual account like Paypal or any other, and withdraw from a Philippine local bank. The ideas he shared was something so new to me, and maybe to a lot of Filipinos too.

Anyway, I learned from the CD and the book that for one to succeed, we must FIRST, THINK is a CERTAIN WAY to get RICH.  There is so much about how we have lived, and how we grew, what we saw in the Philippines (to some poverty and hopelessness), that affects the way we view life. There is a need to change our perspective, like one is to first BELIEVE that one can have more income than you already have.

Notice, that there are sooo many poor people, and there are few RICH ones. Why is it like that…simply because the rich people KNOW SOMETHING and they do it, that most of the population who are POOR DOESNT know!!!

Al shared with us how it was being poor hailing from his province in Cagayan De Oro, and how much he wanted for his situation to change, to the point of him asking the rich people he encountered of how he thinks they became or are rich.  He listed these rich peoples advices and tips and HE DID what it took to achieve his goals. To cut the long story short, AL rose from rugs to riches.

Al now would like the Filipinos like you and me who are not rich to know what he did, how he did it and why. It is all revealed in his Book “Ten Secrets of the Rich”. It can be found in any National Book Store, Powerbooks The Book is P 495.00.

I am thankful to AL because i have income channels right now that are a direct or indirect result of things he taught me.

Thanks to Cebu Pacific Air

We (my family and friends) have been using Cebu Pacific for several years now. It was always Philippine Airlines then.  We switched to Cebu Pacific because of the lower pricing, its fine even if they don’t serve snacks, the price difference was very significant specially that we travel in groups.

My friend Julie alone had 24 flights with Cebu Pacific this year, i only had about 20 ( 1 of which was via Pal Express Air from Caticlan to Manila). Most of those flights were bound to Boracay. We have probably taken more than 100 flights (counting those of my family this year).

Our most recent flights were already FREE courtesy of Cebu Pacific Air, we enjoyed flights to Boracay, Manila and Cebu this last quarter. During the early part of this  year, the flights were always late, there was one time when they already had to serve us lunch because the plane was later for more then four (4) hours alread, but as time passed, by the end of the year as i write, our flights has been ON TIME.

I recommend you to sign up for their newsletter and announcements to take advantage of the latest promos.

Desktop HP 3460D

My niece Richie was here in Manila for a month from Nov 11 to Dec 11, 2008, and we only had my laptop to use.  We were taking turns using it..lol..we both need to be online a lot because of Boracay Stations, our Boracay Resort online business to attend to clients inquiries and booking. So i decided that we should get a desktop for her use. As a result, we got to arrange more bookings…particularly for Boracay Breeze.

I think i need to upgrade the RAM to 3GB or at least 2GB, i find it kind of slow using VISTA with only 1GB RAM.

I had my first HP laptop (had 2 IBM’s and NEO), last year, and since then it became my brand of choice. I would like to have a MAC of course and a SONY Vaio, but its not in my budget range yet lol.  A MAC and SONY Vaio gift would be most welcome :-) and will highly appreciated for sure…sponsors anyone?!

Compaq CQ 40

My brother brought me to Glorietta to take a look at a laptop he wants to buy, and when i saw it, i liked it too.   We both ended up buying one for each of us.  We got it at the Gadget Show which runs until Dec 31,2008  i think. He upgraded his to 2GB RAM, while mine is 3GB to meetthe demands of my work. We are using Windows Vista OS. I like this CQ40 (14 inch) better than my other Compaq C793TU which is 15.4 inch LCD Screen because it’s smaller. Easier for me to carry around. I originally wanted the Compaq 2133 but its too small for my daily use, i think it will be useful for me only for travel and making presentations. For now, im good with this.

I am enjoying, it except for the “tick” sound i kept hearing from time to time. I had it checked at TCA where i bought it and they said i should observe it and if it doesnt go away, i can just bring it to them.  I hope nothing serious, just some setting problem.

TCA (Total Computer Authority) tech people installed everything for me, including the Windows Vista and the IDT to make sure my external mic and speakers work. Without the IDT, my headset wouldn’t work.

It was Gerry who assisted me and my brother, he was very helpful.

Boracay on Top Searches 2008-Yahoo Philippines

Boracay Philippines favorite destination

Boracay Philippines favorite destination

My favorite destination, BORACAY, seems to be the favorite of a lot of locals too, being on Yahoo Philippines Top searches for 2008. The Top search is American idol, second is already Boracay.

I took 8 round trip flights to the island this year, 7 of which via Cebu Pacific Air and 1 via Pal Express Air, 3 days as the shortest and 30 days being the longest stay.

Five (5) things i like about Boracay?

1. The Beach – since i first set foot in Boracay in 1989, i immediately fell in love with the place and kept coming each time i could during summertime, and eventually it became an annual family destination.  Water is crystal clear blue, i could see my feet and some fish even im standing on water up to my neck high. And when i swim at night, and i waggle my hands on the water, it seems to glitter. And the sand doesn’t get hot even on broad day light, playing anytime of the day on sand is alright. Until today, the beach continous to allure me, and many from Korea, Taiwan, Europe and the United States.

2. The Food – seafoods are really fresh, i remember my cousins waking early to wait for fishermen coming in their boats with baskets of catch. Now that fishermens no longer dock on the beach front, you have to go to the market already. Now, there is already a really wide variety of international cuisines on the four kilometer stretch beach.  There is Filipino (of course), Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Morrocan, Indian, American, Mexican, Italian, Norwegian Cuisines and more.

3. WaterSports – back then, it was only boating and speed boating, now? there are a lot of water sports to enjoy, like Banana Boat Ride, Jetski, Diving, Parasailing, Speed Boating, Wake Boarding, Kite Boarding and so much more.

4. Night Life – There is no nightlife like Boracay as some foreigners would say. Bars line up the beach front walk way, with techno, disco, reggae, live bands, folk singers and more while you enjoy some rhythm and hues. Our favorite is Summer Place in station2 .

5. Resorts – The kind of resort you stay at depends on your needs. There are budget resorts, luxury, backpackers, family room resorts and more to choose from.  I have stayed in more than a couple dozen resorts already.  Almost each time i go, we stay in a different resort, in different stations (Boracay has there major stations, which are stations 1, 2 and 3).  My family

Station 3 - is located on the left side of the Island which is mostly part of Manoc Manoc. Resorts here are mostly on the lower priced rooms. My family stayed in La Isla Bonita a number of times, and we get about 4 – 5 rooms here.

Stations 2 – is located on the middle, mostly part of Brgy. Balabag , a lot of new resorts are here, price are also very reasonably priced, this is where D Mall can also be found, D Mall is where the mini  marts, restaurants, souvenir stores are.  This area is the most dense at any given time. I stayed in Giulius Resort in this area, near the Tourist Center

Station 1 – located on the left side of the island, this is where the sand is really finest, like powder. Most of the resorts here are quite pricey (but not all). This is where i like to stay the most. I stayed one month at Boracay Breeze Resort, the castle like resort near the Willy’s Rock.

To go to Boracay, you can go by boat of by plane. By boat its a 13 hours or so ride from the Pier in Manila, or yuo can take the RORO (bus to Batangas, then Boat from Batangas to Caticlan).

By plane its about 45 minutes via Cebu Pacific Air, Pal Express Air, Seair and Zest Air.  Airfare is about P 3,500 and up round trip.

Resort Accomodation is about P 1,000 and up at Station 3. P 2,000 and up at Station 2 and P 3000 and up at Station 1.  There are hotel rooms as much as $300-500 per night.

Condominium hotels are also an excellent investment in the Island. There is Alta Vista De Boracay, Crown Regency, The Pearl Residences and The Shambala among others.

Come and enjoy Boracay…

Leptorexin

The six proprietary matrices make easily Leptorexin an all-embracing blueprint of a wonder capsule that virtually trims down unhealthful body fat while at the same time enhances the building of lean muscle tissue. The ingredients behind these powerful matrices are missing links to other formulas and claims. It is no wonder that an apposite concoction of these compounds brings about a thermogenisis in the body to burn fat, tissue growth and repair.

Edge Coaster & Sky Walk Extreme Launch @ Crown Regency, Cebu

It was a very exciting day at Cebu City last December 10, 2008 when Crown Regency Hotel and Towers launched the World’s First Edge Coaster and the Philippines’ First Sky Walk Extreme Sky Adventure.

I count it a privilege to witness this historical event, special to the Cebuanos and a great pride of the Filipinos. It’s not everyday that one can be in the midst of this kind of action… where you hear voices shouting in excitement while seated at the Edge Coaster Car tilted 55 degrees and going around the hotels edge at the 38th Floor (you will feel a bit scared at the thought of falling, EXCEPT that YOU WONT, coz you are SAFELY AND TIGHTLY FASTENED), and eyes looking forward to another moment of fun and adventure. I felt hungry after the ride haha…as if all the food i ate fell down the ground. One can feel high energies around the crowd as everyone taste, touch, see and feel what life has to offer when you visit Crown Regency Hotel’s Sky Experience Adventure Park.

I know that there are a lot more Cebu as to offer, but what I am sure for now, are 2 Things you MUST DO in CEBU!

1. Ride at the Edge Coaster- This is the World’s First! Enjoy it day time and night time, savor the sights 360″ around the 38th Floor of the TALLEST HOTEL TOWER in the PHILIPPINES- Crown Regency Hotel at Fuente Osmena Avenue! It is safe and really fun…I rode it twice already, my friend Janet rode 3 x, even my 65 year old Mom immensely enjoyed the night lights overlooking the entire Cebu as we rode the Edge Coaster together.

2. Take a walk at the Sky Walk Extreme
- I was the 8th person on the very 1st BATCH, Ceremonial Walk! You get to wear a SkyWalk suit, get attached to a harness (similar to what are used during James Bond stunts filmings) and walk around the edge of the 37th floor, see through the glass flooring and look down the ground, or stand one feet floating on air if you wish :-) and take home a souvenir CD with you in full Sky walking Gear, and maybe a shot of you on the Edge Coaster looking scared hehe…

Its open from 8 am to about 2am of the next day, DAILY. Access to the Sky Walk Adventure goes with a ride and snack!
