While having dinner the other night with Elliot at Bubba Gump Greenbelt 3, he asked what field of nursing do i intend to get into. I said, a lot are suggesting Dialysis to be a good choice because its not as taxing as the other areas of specialization. But since i haven’t really been exposed to that unit, i can’t say if that’s what i really want.

If i’ll based it on experiences during rotation, i find the Operating Room area to be the most interesting for me. My very first exposure was in San Bernardino General Hospital, where i scrubbed-in for a Low Transverse Ceasarian Section operation. What made it special was that, the mother had twins.

On the photo is Ate Lily, Didith, our clinical Instructor Anton Saddat, me, Julie and Kuya Boy. We just finished our duty, still all smiling, happy about our exposure for the day, and cases handled. We were hands full from 6am till past 2pm with a series of Normal Deliveries and operations.
