I was reading Christian Post a few days ago, Ptr. Rick Warren (of Saddleback church and author of best seller Purpose Driven Life) posted a letter in his church updating members of the charities and giving they have done for the year and needed USD 900,000 for the church to be debt fee, that’s equal to Forty-one Million (Php 41,000,000) in Philippine money that needed to be raised in Two (2) days! You know that this amount is not small money, and knowing how bad the economy is, it’s hard to think it can be raised.

But our economy is not of this world, our economy is of God’s, the heavenlies, our King is the maker of Heavens and the Earth to whom all things are possible. With in two days, as a response by God’s people, believing Christians, not only US 900,000 was raised but more than twice that, at a whooping USD 2.4M dollars, equal to about One hundred Ten Million (Php 110,400,000.00) Philippine Pesos, mostly donations of less than USD 100 from its more than 20,000 members.

When a project is from God, His resources follow. Glory to God for all the generosity and the charity projects accomplished for the glory of God.
