Table top displays

I hope to find a few pieces of good tabletop displays in the States when my husband and I take a vacation next month. At least something that will be a good piece to point at and start  an interesting conversation, maybe a symbolic piece that  has a good history. Or a personal item that speaks of a good adventure, an heirloom kinda  memorabilia.

I surely want to have a strong looking Horse on a leap or a run and an Eagle among others.

Reading John Chow’s ebook Money Making Online

John Chow‘s ebook Money Making Online with John Chow dot com is a gold mine of information on making serious money online, that’s for sure! You see I’ve had this blog the same year he launched his, and I am nowhere near to making anything like he does! nada! But I don’t feel terrible that he made all those money and I didn’t. Why? Because I didn’t do all the hardwork he did, the time, the money, the dedication, the heart he put into his blog!

But I do feel bad that I wasted my time doing other things, like a lot of unproductive things, instead of sharing something of value online. Not that I wasn’t able to achieve any good, I believe I have been very blessed the last few years!

God has blessed me with a Bachelors Degree! Passed a couple of Professional Board Exams! Helped with a couple of  Relief Operations and Medical Missions to Typhoon stricken places, got to travel to a few countries, learned how to scuba dive, mountain climb from Dale Abenojar (the First Filipino to reach the peak of Mt. Everest)!  Went bouldering, cave exploring and among  the first in the Sky Adventure in the Philippines.  Got married to a handsome, responsible, loving  and most of all godly man. Now, building  a beach house and a 21 seater boat  in a beautiful white sand beach facing the west!

It would be great to enjoy our beach house while I make even just a quarter of what John Chow makes in a couple of years! If I only blogged about all those adventures and some, maybe I am making many times more than I do now.   I’m looking forward to watching the awesome sunset with my loving husband who is always supportive of things I want to do, and have the money to spend and share with the less fortunate, too.

Maybe I’ll make it a motivation to earn from blogging to support a cause. There is no hospital in the town where our beach is, and kids are starving because we’re off grid (meaning no power and no road access.) We are using solar for our house and boat to get to out beach. There is a way to have satellite internet so blogging is possible! I want to have some type of Nursing/First Aid Station for the community, help with Education, right now, they’re fund raising to build a Pre-School room.

So since I am done with a lot of time consuming endeavors and my hubby and I will soon move to our beach house (can have fresh mind to blog) looking into the vastness of the tranquil sea, I should seriously follow what John said in the guide and just go ahead live the life it can bring me!

My blog will need a revamp, a total make over and organization. And a serious commitment to post! I will surely make the changes, maybe slowly but surely! In 2007 (oh my 5 years ago! time flew)  was once starting to hang out with some bloggers, it was Gail who introduced me to this, then later met Abe who is a serious blogger sent to Germany just to speak of its power. I remember meeting Manny Viloria, Aileen Apolo of Google. Also, got to even speak in a bloggers conference iblog3 on the invitation of Janette Toral Digital Filipino, so I guess I was doing something right at the beginning and totally lacked follow through.

I will probably try to launch Wowislands blog as well for all the travels I had and will keep having In a few days, I’ll be going to the beach house to oversee construction and shortly after that will travel to the States for a vacation. I can now put the travel experiences, videos and pictures to some good use and not just have them sleep in a portable hard drive waiting to be looked at again.

I need to finish all of John’s ebook soon so I can plan my blog before I move further! I have a USD 109 from google adsense this January, so maybe it’s a good sign lol!  I want to be an effective Internet marketer of products I believe in myself, that’s for sure!

Better late than never to start blogging and making money online at all!

Hapag-Asa Feeding Program

No Gravatar

Tita Malou Cosico Anora shared with me about the Hapag-Asa Feeding Program that they’re implementing at Shepherd of Love Church in Don Antonio. They’re currently feeding 142 kids and some kids say they feel better now, and parents share that their kids started to do better in school and look healthier. This is due to the fact that the Vita Meal made of Rice and Lentils is packed with Vitamins and Minerals essential to a child’s development. Being a Full Gospel Christian church implementing this program, the kids are getting fed both their physical and spiritual needs. Kids are shared moral values such as the importance of good hygiene, praying, sharing and more. She got the Vita Meal through the Bethesda International Ministries, one of the Hapag-Asa’s Implementing partners

Please watch the following video and understand what hunger means like to these kids and what damage it can do “permanently” on them.

We desire to be an implementor of this program in Palawan, we have identified a location where kids look very small for their ages, and the parents confirm that Malnutrition is a concern in their area due to difficulty of transportation to town/inaccessibility, right now, the place is reachable  by a One (1) hour speedboat or almost two (2) hours motorized boat ride from town or  by land, it is a  One (1) hour drive up to where a car can go then trekking two hours and 30 minutes to where about 3oo families who are in dire need for nutritious food and medical care live. Food they get is primarily from what they can grow and what they can fish, and given the long rainy seasons (el nina) or too dry (el nino), having the right food mix can be very difficult.  They’re visited by the town’s health worker once a month which I believe is not enough to address the real needs of the people especially children

Dinner time for them

Dinner for them is fish and rice. Lacking a lot of protein for proper development

Please pray with my husband, Doug and I as we respond to what we believe God has placed in our hearts to do, to be a channel of blessings to this community in Palawan by facilitating feeding programs, medical missions, livelihood program and sharing the love of Jesus and His plan for us.

Join us as we share our blessings of time, good health, resources and talents God has blessed us with.

As the Real Life Foundation says. Helping others never goes out of style!
