Halowich opened only in December 2007 and it is receiving very good response in Boracay with its thirst quenching Halo Halo (crushed ice mixed with fruit, milk, chocolates and ice cream).

It’s a hit among tourists of all ages …from kids, kid-like like us lol, teeners, young professionals and the not so young (very special people we call grammies) but lovely.
A hit for everyone from different races too…black, brown, yellow and white…saw different kinds getting a fill of the halowich experience.
We ordered this Family Size Halowich Special (P 399/$9.50)

Crushed Ice made from Mineral Water, with mango puree, corn flakes, sweet beans, real fruit bits of mango, watermelon, chocolates, ice cream….yummy

They also serve sandwiches done in a different way..
They basically serve Halo Halo and Sandwich..thus Halowich
I heard it is owned by a Korean
You can find it at D’mall in Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan, Philippines

ang mahal nito!

I enthusiastically asked the guy “Manong, magkano to?” (How much is this?) as he prepare this lobster to be up for sale in time for dinner in Boracay. Make a wild guess how much it is… P2,000…P4,000? inggk… wrong…It’s P8,000! I gulped upon hearing him say…”mga walong libo mam”, and i just said “salamat” (thank you) …hahahaha… Gosh ang mahal pala ng lobster…
My Best Wishes and Congratulations to Ronald and Kathrina. It was a lovely wedding. A happy, healthy and strong marriage to you.
Kathrina is my next door neighbor, who i’v shared a lot of evening chats with whenever i or she came home early. We also wake up each other when ever either of our cars are blocking the way lol.
The wedding was very solemn held at their Central Church which was a few minutes away from our house. I arrived just in time but the guard wont let me in because I was wearing pants…gee, i had to go back home and change into skirts so they would let me in, it’s a good thing that church was very near. I didn’t know that Iglesia Ni Cristo church was very strict, and would allow only women in skirts.
The reception followed at the Gazebo Royale along Visayas Ave., also very near. Again, I didn’t know there is such a lovely place 5 minutes away, apart from Fern Gardens.
The food was very good too, it was by Hizon’s.
The entire ceremony was very nice and in order, family and friends surely had a great time like i did.
