Ecommerce Software
I would like to have an online store to sell electronic products and gadgets. I haven’t firmed up the details but definitely I would like to have one. There are many things to consider like what is the best ecommerce software, how will the collection be like, how the distribution or delivery of the product will be.
And of course the market needs to be studied first, like are people bent on paying products online in the market I want to reach, should sell to local clients or international too, how much buying power does the market I want to tap has. Are they into buying products that I want to sell.
On the look and feel of the site, who are my target clients, what is their demographics, etc. All these I am yet to study…I hope I can do all by middle of the year.

I attended a Trade Show some two weeks ago where i was given a business magazine called Enterprise, it is a back issue released May 2007.
One article talks about how much the sales growth of LCD plasma tv’s and monitors have grown. It is reported that 19,000,000 units was sold last year and it is expected to quadruple in the next 3 years.
This gives me an idea of what product to sell online. I am thinking of launching a shopping cart purposely for selling LCD Tv’s. Still figuring out how to make this happen, but definitely, the desire to do it is there, and planning is underway which starts with a feasibility study.
