Franchise business opportunity
April 10th, 2011
Arelle V. White A lot desire to have some type of business, but not knowing where to start is what discourages a lot of people from actually starting. It is highly recommended that you get into some type of business that first and foremost interest you. Don’t open up a food business if you don’t even know how to cook, because this means you will have to rely on a cook all time and if that person doesn’t show up then you’re messed up. Then when you identify what interests you, you have to study the market, create a business plan, source funding, start looking for a store front, hire people, train them, and so on and so forth.
There is however a way to lessen your headache by trying to franchise an already known name brand, with a captive market, and a system you just have to follow. And investment could be minimal. Research as much as you can about the brand and product you are considering, read reviews and ask around, visit stores carrying the franchise and try to observe the flow of their business like volume of customers on a weekday and a weekend, etc.

April 4th, 2011
Arelle V. White I want to thank God for His favor for letting me pass the Real Estate Brokers board examination, of the 4762 who took, only 3185 (66.88%) of us passed! Thanks to my family who supported, prayed, and encouraged me! Also, many thanks to the Officers and Staff of the Pasig-Pareb especially to our instructor, Atty. Ariel Martinez who equipped me with the necessary knowledge I needed to pass it.

The room in MLQU where I took the exams had 2 units kind of noisy air-cons behind me, and putting ear plugs that I got from an airline during a trip helped a lot to gain concentration and think better. I am mentioning this because when I took the Nursing Board exams, it was really noisy because we took it in a non-aircon room and there was a parade in the streets right next to the window because it was Bonifacio Day and there was a celebration. So i thought this time, I’ll come prepared to handle the noise. I am not some who can study and think well even with tv, radio or any kind of noise. I made visual aids using Manila paper for some figures and formulas I should be able to memorize and posted in our walls for a few days. Also recorded my voice while reading some vital infos I thought I should be able to absorb, and put it in my ipod to listen to while travelling. Some can do without all these aids (visual and audio) I did and still pass, but I know myself lol, i need it!
I relaxed the day before the board exam and didn’t do any reviews anymore and slept early! That’s a bit of my exam story!
Congratulations to all my batch mates who passed the very first Real Estate Brokers Examination! Thanks to PRC and the PRBRES who made the release earlier than 10 days, it relieved me of more days of potential anxiety waiting for the result!
