My sister Rich likes buying gadgets, i see her change often enough for me not to remember what cellphone or laptop she is using, i am rather fixated, my phones normally stays with me for more than a year, while she changes almost weekly or bi-monthly i think. When she got home the last week, i liked her Atom O2, and requested her to get me one for myself. We got it from Greenhills.

It went with a CAPDASE Leather Case, which i liked. I basically got this phone because i really needed a gadget that could store more contact info than my 500 phone capacity for my business  And i need to load it up with a bible and nursing review stuff.

Rich installed a lot of stuff and games which i haven’t really explored much except for Text Twist and Pacman lol.  It’s a used phone but really nice, we did diagnostics and all is well, the unit has no scratches, very smooth, the previous owner took good care of it…il take a photo of the real thing when i charge up my digital cam. It’s only P 8,500, really a deal coz we went around and most were selling the same for P 10,000.

I was at Fairways and Bluewaters in Boracay the other week and im reminded of the time when i was learning how to play golf.  Suddenly i felt like i want to play golf again. I still recall my golf pro reminding me always to stick my eyes on the ball.  Golf was quite addicting… if your game is good, the more you want to play, if your game is bad because of a bad swing, still you want to play some more to correct it.

My associates and i spend hours hitting golf balls at the driving range in Ortigas.

After attending church yesterday, i needed to get some cash from my atm for my trip the following day to Boracay, all but two of my savings accounts was giving me an error that says “your bank is not responding”, it was an internetwork facility using Robinsons Bank atm. I tried two of my atm accounts ( unionbank and eastwest bank)  from another bank in this atm, and that’s what happened, i got pretty alarmed because all the cash i had, i already put in the offering box at church…how are we ( with my cousins Madel and Rene) supposed to go to Angeles where we needed some staff i need to bring to Boracay and buy other stuff i still need… Lesson 1, withdraw first before going to church.

I then moved to another atm machine (ucpb) and tried it, same result, i told my self o uh…

Then i remembered that i have an account with one of the atm facilities, that i know still has a thousand or something left (Robinsons Bank) so same bank and same atm card, i went back to it and presto, i got a bit of cash for lunch and cabbie. It was a relief.
