I attended a Trade Show some two weeks ago where i was given a business magazine called Enterprise, it is a back issue released May 2007.
One article talks about how much the sales growth of LCD plasma tv’s and monitors have grown. It is reported that 19,000,000 units was sold last year and it is expected to quadruple in the next 3 years.
This gives me an idea of what product to sell online. I am thinking of launching a shopping cart purposely for selling LCD Tv’s. Still figuring out how to make this happen, but definitely, the desire to do it is there, and planning is underway which starts with a feasibility study.
I am considering naming my shopping cart http://gadgets.com.ph

Do you wish to sell products online? After determining what ecommerce platform to use for your shopping site, like OsCommerce or others, it is important to choose the right merchant account provider.
A merchant account provider is one who processes credit card payments on a store. This payment system is to be installed and integrated in your website so that each product is linked to a payment facility that so credit card payments can be processed.
A website where there are products and prices serves only as a catalogue or a marketing tool, and not a money making website if it doesn’t have a merchant account.

Are you in the online business, or thinking of being it? There are many challenges in doing business online. Aside from launching a well thought of website and a market driven website, it is also important to seek expert advice on search engine marketing and promotion services that you could do to get people to visit your website. Online business doesn’t stop at launching a very well designed and very functional website, it is just the beginning! What would you with a site that only a few sees? Just like in a traditional business, what would you do with a great product if people doesn’t know it exists. Make sure to have some search engine optimization done and study other advertising or exposure options you could do. Identify your specific target market and concentrate the majority of your campaigns in tapping it. Like if you are into medical supplies, then expose your product where people who buy those go…In what forum do they hang out, what yahoo groups do they belong, etc. Maybe you can place a banner ad in those forums or send an announcement in their yahoo groups. There are really a thousand ways to skin the cat…. You can start with one way.
