A few days ago, I saw an interview of an HP executive saying they will stop making computer hardwares (PC, laptops and tablet pc’s). This alarms me because both my husband’s and my laptop are HP, so I asked my husband if we should already sell our laptops and upgrade to something else, mine is more than a year old and his is barely 6 months or so, and he said, he doesn’t think they will just drop their service and customer support on spare parts just like that and I agree with him. Although the resale value of any HP laptop can really be affected by it. So I guess will just have to keep our laptops which will hopefully last a long time! Apparently HP find the software business more lucrative and will focus on developing that product instead.

HP launched a Touchpad to rival Ipad but didn’t take off, they in fact are slashing the HP Touchpad’s price from USD 399 to USD 99 only…whoa!!! And retailers who HP advised of the price cut go, sold their stocks in minutes.
