Pepeng, a very strong typhoon is expected to hit land by 9PM tonight! Let us fervently pray and prepare too.

I am encouraging everyone to seek God, and pray what He would like us to do individually and as a nation. Father Heal our Land

2 Chronicles 7:14 (New International Version)

14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Some tips.

Prepare Provision for at least 3 Days. Have these ready to bring in case you need to evacuate too

1. Prepare Potable Water and Ready or Easy to Cook Food – bread, biscuits, canned goods, noodles, broiled egg, etc.
2. Clothes wrapped in plastic and sealed.
3. Charge your cellphone for communication
4. Extra batteries for flashlights
5. Unplug all appliances and place them in high areas of the house (2nd floor or top of table)
6. Have a float device (styro box, inflatables, salvabida/aired tire tubings)
7. Constantly inform family of your whereabouts and status if you are travelling.
8. Be home and close to family as much as possible.
9. For those who’s money is on ATM, withdraw now while there is electricity.
10. Always have ID with you.
11. Bring a Plastic (Ziploc) to store cellphones & electronic gadgets to prevent it from getting wet.
12. Have Ice on a chest for store fooding and to keep it from spoiling.
13. Have Medicines for Fever, Colds and Diarrhea.
14. List down important telephone numbers on paper and put it on your wallets just in case your phones go empty battery.

For those with babies, make sure you have enough formula for your infant and distilled water. In case of emergency that there is really no more formula left. Give your baby clean water with sugar on it, to prevent muscle weakness and dehydration (this is not meant to replace milk, this is only for emergency purposes) Breast Milk/Formula is still the best food for your infants. Enough clothes for baby to change, and protection from rain/cold – jacket/rain coat, socks, head covering.

If you have to leave house, put your important things in a Plastic Bag (like that of Black Trash Bag) and make sure to seal it properly and put in elevated cabinets.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, PRAY!!!
